Our History

Although we officially began in 1983, Woodhaven has really been in existence since the day my father bought me, his eleven-year-old son, a router in 1963. Upon arriving home with my very own, real live power tool, I immediately rushed to the basement and plugged it in. My delight soon turned to sheer terror when, as I squeezed the trigger, it jerked wildly. The first thing I decided to do was mount it in a table, hoping all the while that it wouldn't go off into some sub-space basement orbit. Well, it worked. In 1983 we opened a woodworking tool store, classroom and do-it- yourself shop. Of course, I had my trusty router table for people to use. Soon customers were wanting one for their own shops and we obliged by making a few. Now, all we do is manufacture and sell woodworking tools and accessories. It's so much fun that I almost hate to think of it as a business, but we are very serious about supplying you with superior and innovative products. Thanks for checking out our website.
